Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique

Ah— Dress up! Fun at home, and incredibly popular for young ones at Disney.
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique offers salon stations staffed by Fairy Godmothers in Training. Here, young prince and princesses age 3 - 12 can choose form a variety of ‘dress up’ packages and take pretending to an all new level on their Disney vacation.
There are presently 3 Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique locations at Walt Disney World. (Disney's Grand Floridian Resort option opens sometime fall 2019) The Cinderella Castle location is decidedly smaller and more difficult to reserve. It is also much more convenient for many people, especially if a meal with a princess is also on the agenda. But no matter which location you are visiting, the experience is the same.

Reservations
You must make a reservation for the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique as close to 180 days in advance as possible; walk-in appointments are rarely available. You should plan 60 - 90 minutes for the event. Wait times will vary. Generally the boutique is running 10 - 15 minutes behind schedule so showing up early for check in may be what Disney advises, but it probably isn’t necessary. The waiting area can be quite crowded and a little chaotic, so consider bringing just your princess-to-be, and not the entire party to the Boutique.

The Makeover Process
If you have selected the deluxe Castle Package, your little girl will select the Disney Princess she wants to be, and will be whisked away to the dressing room for a new princess dress, shoes and accessories.
The makeover begins with hair, and the Fairy Godmothers are wonderful at creating picture perfect styles that last — once "made-over" your new hairstyle will last until you get it wet. After the hairstyle is complete, your little princess will receive a light coat of glittery makeup and a choice of sheer blue or pink nail polish. A final sprinkling of pixie dust, and the makeover is complete. All transformations are done facing "away" from a mirror, and the final reveal is both magical and dramatic.

Photographs
Although both locations have a few PhotoPass photographers to help you capture your child's transformation, we encourage you to use your own camera as well. If you are at the Disney Springs salon and would like formal finished portraits, head to the nearby PhotoPass center. That site has a immersive backdrops to further enhance the photo. At the Magic Kingdom location, you can visit the PhotoPass studio at Castle Couture.

Imaging Packages
Anyone can add an Imaging package to any of the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique package offering for an additional $32.95 (plus tax). You will receive one 6x8" and four 4x6" photos is a special photo holder. Guests who have purchased Memory Maker will have these photo included at no additional fee. They will not receive prints, however.
A Few Helpful Tips
Money Saver
If you want the experience without a huge price tag, bring a Disney Princess dress from home, and wear it to the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique. There is a place to change at the salon. The experience is just as magical, but the dress is the most expensive part of the package, so bringing your own will save money on your makeover.
Go to the Bathroom Before your Visit!
There are no restrooms in the Boutique. So, make a pit stop before checking in, or while you're waiting to be seated.

Hairstyles
If your child has a bob hairstyle, or shorter, and you or she wants the "Fairytale Princess" hairstyle you have to realize that it isn't going to look like the picture. You'll be fortunate if they can actually make a whole, full bun on top of the girl's head. Your best bet is to go with the "Disney Diva" or the "Pop Princess". Two hairstyles that ADD hair, as opposed to using the hair that's already there.

No Deviations
Fairy Godmother’s in Training aren't allowed to deviate from the hairstyles offered, so please don't make requests that stray from their training.

Tips are allowed
If you feel that the service you've received was worth a gratuity (many do), you are allowed to Tip your Fairy Godmother-in-Training, and any other Fairy Godmother that you choose. However, you will have to do it in cash, as the Fairy's at the register aren't allowed to charge Tips on your credit/room card.

Be Realistic
The salon is small and rather chaotic. Every member of your party probably won’t be able to watch the transformation. There are dozens of girls, and just a few PhotoPass Photographers. Use your own camera! Your child may want to keep the hair in for days, or moments. It can be stiff, tight and itchy -- or not bother then at all. Specific dresses and sizes are never promised. If you MUST be a specific princess, bring a dress from home.

Don't Forget to Have Fun.
Above and beyond everything else, you should make having fun the Number 1 Priority! This isn't a chore. This isn’t a ‘must do’ to check off a list. This isn’t something to squeeze in between other ‘must does’. This is the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique! Prioritize and treasure the moment.
